A trip to St. Augustine Alligator Farm is always great in the early summer. The gators keep the snakes and raccoons away from the eggs of nesting birds.

  1. ur images r beautiful. I’m trying to learn bird photography and right now wondering were the rosy spool bills are and if they’re nesting now, still? or if their babies have fledged. I now plan to go to the Farm. I didn’t know about it. so much to learn. ur pics have great character and interest.

Thanks for your comments on the St. Augustine gallery. The Spoonbills do not next at the Alligator Farm. The birds are best in the later Spring into June. Best is call the Farm and check on what is happening. Also, sign up for their e-mail with lots of updates on what is going on. I know the Spoonbills nest near Galveston, TX – High Island is one place.
